21-Year-Old Woman Shot and Killed as She Finished Work at Georgia Bar — Suspect at Large

Georgia authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old woman who was killed as she finished work at a bar in Remerton.

Brianna Long was finishing up her shift at The Pier, where she was a bartender, around 2:30 a.m. Sunday when she was hit during a shooting outside the bar, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced in apress release.

Long was inside the bar after it closed when the shooting began. It stemmed from an apparent altercation outside, the GBI says, adding that many patrons were outside when it happened and multiple vehicles were shot.
