3 People Dead After Tanker Truck Causes Fiery Multi-Vehicle Crash on Pa. Highway

Three people have died after three vehicles, including a tanker truck carrying jet fuel, were involved in a fiery crash on a Pennsylvania highway.

The tanker truck was then unable to stop in time, and slammed into both vehicles, sparking a massive blaze that engulfed all three vehicles.

Per reports, the driver of the Acura was transported to a local hospital. Their condition remains unclear at this time.

The victims’ identities have not been released. Pennsylvania State Police did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Various videos of the crash, which have been circulating on social media, show all three vehicles engulfed in flames. A trail of debris can be seen behind the vehicles, as well.

The northbound side of the turnpike wasclosed for several hours, according to authorities with the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
