The police said that there was “no active threat” as of 11 p.m. Monday.

In addition to the Beavercreek PD, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the FBI “as well as other local agencies are on scene assisting with the investigation,” it was revealed on X.

Monday night’s shooting was the second at a Walmart store in the U.S. in just over 24 hours.
Two people were shot and killed in the parking lot of a store in Anchorage, Alaska Sunday night, according to the Anchorage Police Department. Shortly after 5 p.m., officers responded “to reports of a shooting,” the policesaid in a release. “When officers arrived, they found a deceased adult female and a deceased adult male.”
According to authorities, “the circumstances of the incident are under investigation, but officers have cause to believe this is an isolated incident.” They added that no arrests have been made and that the investigation remains ongoing.
“We have no motive yet, no information on what he may have been thinking, or anything else,” Beavercreek Police Capt. Scott Molnar told reporters Monday night, perNBC News. “We’re still looking into it. It’s very, very early in the investigation.”
