'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' 's Elizabeth Henstridge Is Engaged to Zachary Burr Abel

Elizabeth Henstridgehas “some news to share with you“: She’s engaged!

TheAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D.star revealed on Monday that her longtime boyfriend Zachary Burr Abel popped the question — and she said yes!

“We have some news to share with you… ❤️ A proposal in three parts; Happy, Shocked, Flip Yeah 🥳” she captioned an Instagram.

“@zacharyburrabel couldn’t love you more,” wrote Henstridge, who stars as Jemma Simmons on the ABC action drama.

The English actress, 31, shared three photos captured during the happy proposal, including two snaps of the lovebirds showcasing the ring and one of herself wiping away tears.

Burr, an actor best known forMake It or Break Itand travel blogger, also posted the celebratory news (in the form of a poem!) to social media alongside the same images.

“Bended knee, you and me, floods of tears, 7 days 7 years. 💍🥂🍾❤️ #engaged #fiancé @lil_henstridge,” he continued.

To celebrate Abel’s birthday in September, Henstridge posted a loving tribute to Instagram in honor of her beau, who she said “inspires” her daily.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the man who inspires me every day with his passion, perseverance and fart jokes,” she said.

Henstridge also said that Abel keeps her continuously laughing and smiling.

“And fills every second with laughter and pure unfiltered joy. (It’s you @zacharyburrabel),” wrote the star. “Little did I know, 6 and a half years ago ☝️…. here’s to a bazillion more 💥.”
